But that would require more animation work!

Although it'd be pretty neat for the instakill with a nightstick/baton to be the cop bonking the crook in the temple. Wouldn't really look any more stupid than what's going on in that knife gif anyway.

the baton is the default weapon and you do a cool choke takedown on people from behind and cuff them and then you can interrogate them to reveal enemy positions in a small area

JUST got into the beta. I may have squealed.

Dice you failed, police don't carry knives. Knife should be a baton/taser.
Silly little harm, if you played the beta, you would know you can get a baton and taser and have to buy a knife before you can use it.

My experience with the beta:

Downloaded, installed, crashed 7 times, and when I got in, computer nearly had to reboot.

Needless to say, I can't run this game on my PC. Still excited for it though, and I might play it if I get a PS4.

I like blood money, heist on the other hand seems very meh.

just signed up for the beta

really hopin i get to play soon

but why be informed when you can make edgy assumptions on a game you havent played??????

I signed up the day it came out, I just got it yesterday

Same and I just got in today, registered literally right after they announced it.

I don't like it.
Just..... No.

Heist rounds can be way to fast, idk. We had a string of about 6 rounds that were 2-4 minutes long. Criminals get the loot out ASAP, cops steal loot from criminals as soon as the doors pop, rinse, repeat. It was pretty neat though when we had some stretched out rounds.

I'd like to play some blood money, haven't even played a round yet.

I really like this game, though, even compared to bf4. Some of the gameplay moments were just different feeling, I don't know how to explain it. I like the vehicle changes, I like being able to get weapons easier than having to grind through 8 different assault rifle unlocks just to get what I want. The gadgets are neat, especially the taser.

So two things I noticed right away regarding the gunplay.
1) I didn't even notice myself getting hitmarkers, yet I was still able to perfectly judge exactly how many shots I needed to fire to kill someone anyways.
2) The gunplay feels less like RNG and more skill based, like they went for a more: The guns jerk crazily with recoil but if you have the skill to control it, people will die. Love this <3
