op now states the factions/organizations that exist.

npc factions will be had. they will be active to protect themselves or for story related things. generally they will be ignored, but you can invade them if you so wish. from now on unclaimed land is "unorganized territory" where raiders or salvagers appear or maybe small groups not big enough to be a nation might exist too.

expect npc nations to start popping up

Most 'a y'all have pretty high currency value after an economic collapse.  Nothing wrong with it at this point but it's unusual.

By 2014 comparison:
1 GCD = $120
1 Pret = $30
1 Angle = $6 (This is realistic)

(Unless this is some new standard economic practice)

ST creates drones to clean up the countless dollar bills to collect and fly back to processing centers to convert them into usable material.  Some of this material is being donated to humanitarian aid programs across the world.

GECE finishes development of the male variant of the upcoming Manned Hunter Killer Frame's plug-suit.

The plug-suit is, as the name suggests, a skin-tight suit that the user wears which is plugged into the War Frame of the MHKF.

GECE begins official development of the first MHKF's schematics, the T1, or Type 1.

GECE also releases some conceptual art as to what the MHKF-T1 was to look like previously.

Here's that stuff

Specron Tech announces its acquisition of a biological engineering company local to the GECE, called Neurotech Inc.

ST begins shipping construction materials in great bulk to [REDACTED].  A restricted zone is created at this site with a radius of 50 miles.  Any inhabitants in this area are evicted and are provided due compensation.  Signs are posted around the area to indicate a strict policy on trespassing.

Quote from: Tresspassing Notice
Trespassing within a radius of 50 miles will result in a warning by drone or radio.  Orders will be given to evacuate the area within ten minutes, else an escort will remove you from the premises.  Trespassing within 35 miles of this zone will result in a warning of "shoot on sight".  Upon sight by drone or security officer, you will be shot without further warning, whether military or civilian.  Upon trespassing 25 miles or fewer, you will be tracked and shot with high grade weaponry to ensure complete annihilation.

The sign contains the emblem of the GECE Royal Family, and the signature of the Secretary of Defense.

1960:  Computers that take up entire rooms.
2010:  Computers with the same processing power and memory are surpassed by Gen 3 Smartphones.  Carbon fiber and fiber optics becoming common.
2050:  ???

The current design seems reasonable, but the concept drawings seem okay if released no earlier than 2060.

Introducing: NPC nations.

Shown as a light gray or dark gray, they are controlled by me but i will only have them react to being attacked or story related issues, in which case, i wont care if they are defeated or not.

New Texas Republic
Government System: Republic
Economic System: Modified Capitalism
Allies: (Fill this in)
Description: Described as "a bunch of dumb cowboys," they, along with a few other (and parts) of states, with USA's permission, formed their own nation. Think of them as just a group of cowboys from old westerns. Clever, reasonable (to an extent), and do things for a "greater cause."

Californian Republic
Government System: Republic Democracy
Economic System: Modified Capitalism
Description: Like the Texans, they separated from the United states. These guys can be described as a peaceful bunch. At least, most of them can.

Estanivol'kalia
Government System: Unstable Corrupt Dictatorship
Economic System: Barter
Description: Described as "some africans with guns," they're very dangerous and should not be messed with. They hang the heads of their enemies on the sides of buildings to warn people about what happens when they think about doing them harm.

Greci
Government System: Democracy
Economic System: Modified Capitalism
Description: A small peaceful nation with the hope to bring back greek culture. Just a note, that does not mean they don't have modern weapons.

New Russia Republics
Government System: Dictatorship "Republic"
Economic System: Communism
Description: WNRR, CNRR, and ENRR make up the New Russia Republic. This large union is the result of some russians getting pissed about not having an economy. Big, bad, and... ugly!

Northern Australian Traders Unions
Government System: Union
Economic System: Modified Capitalism
Description: Organized traders. Very peaceful, talkative, and has experience with many... "exotic" animals.

Neat!

ST researchers wish to do research in NATU, Estanivol'kalia, all North American NPC nations, Tiven, and Afkoshlia.  Please send all paperwork that is required for us to complete if interested.

Yes, you can do research, but please, call us the Grand Atlantic Lands. (GAC for short. It's what we're really called unless you're speaking local dialect.)

We offer an alliance with the Confederacy, and annexation. We bring up the fact that we've got a bit of power that we could use to better their society and make them more powerful against the North. Please respond.

There is severe deflation in the economy bringing the value of the Pret down to $12 = π1 (ist gut!)

Anglo-Stellastria sends messages to the peaceful English-speaking nations of the world; namely, NATU, the Californian Republic, and the New Texas Republic, hoping to form an alliance. Behind closed doors, Anglo-Stellastria's government is discussing a project to annex the ruins of Canada within the next few years. Currently, they are unsure if the population and economy are strong enough to support such a project.

Also, ST is contacted with a special offer; land within Anglo-Stellastria, for free, and reduced tax rates. In exchange, all research must be disclosed to the Anglo-Stellastrian government, which doesn't mean much if they were planning to disclose said research to the public.

Which would you prefer?

That's inflation.

ST files paperwork and sends it back to the GAL/GAC.  We request passports as well.
