Your CA territory has had good relations with USA it seems for a while.  While it's apparent that they have their differences, they've tended to be partners.

I would expect some serious riots, or possibly an all-out revolution, or conflict to the point of Texas, maybe California joining in, though the former is a small chance, the latter even thinner.

they would not have accepted so if you were to revert back then you would not get their territory without fighting, however if you were to attack usa again after reverting you would get the same dice rolls, just for fairness

5 & 2 - Your forces get to the capitol building with not much problem, but when you get there you find some people waiting to defend. Nonetheless, they were able to be taken out with the effort of your military and you begin to take over the capitol building.

You now have some options you can do with USA's capital. You can destroy it, or turn it to another city, or do whatever.
