What could be considered a considered Conservatian Invasion force is sent to the origination of the radio signals that were intercepted by a reconassiance ship disguised as a fishing vessel in the approximate region, a ways in between Anglo and Afko waters, and simply because it has been noted there's a large influx of ships entering the region. Two aircraft carriers are sent along with numerous destroyers, several submarines and the sort. Their reason behind this? To confiscate the UFO, of course.
