So I've been playing this game for hours for the past day.

I've been playing mainly in the retro cups. I've played Toad's Turnpike quite a bit, but you know, something ain't right.

The starting line, the cars, the item box placement, the detail... agh, it feels like a completely different track. It's not giving me the same feeling as Royal Raceway, Yoshi Valley, and Rainbow Road.

I get it, this is 2014, not 1996, so it is supposed to look far more detailed and updated, but... it just feels too different.

The original Toad's Turnpike's walls were gray blocks. If they hadn't made major changes it would be a pretty boring track imo.
