Looking for an online racing game.

This is something that I have been trying to find for a while now.  What are some enjoyable, PC racing games that play similarly to games such as Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing?  Online play is preferred but not required.

Crazyracing Kartrider was the stuff before it was shut down. It felt a lot like like CTR.
