Author Topic: help me remember a childhood lego game?  (Read 928 times)

alright so i'm going to describe this lego game i played a long time ago in the best sense i can (very vaguely)

it wasn't on a CD or anything like that, it was a browser game
i remember it by the name lego universe but obviously that was a different game

it was a sort of strategy game with no like first person or character elements

it had a system of blueprints and building certain items like jars and bees or some stuff like that

it had a facebook-like system of meeting NPC's and etc

i cannot find it anywhere

basically i get the urge to just play this game every so often but every time i cannot remember or find a trace of the name or what game it was

someone please help me

Is it that Lego flash game where you could also play as a duck which had a sound similar to Blockland's jump sound, and the vehicles had to retrieve fuel before they ran out and could no longer do certain tasks?

World Builder

In fact, tyler66 posted a working link to world builder 2, and there exists one for world builder 1
I think it requires an older version of shockwave flash player, though.

I just took the 2 out of the second link to get the first link and it seemed to work. I haven't gotten either functioning yet, I'm not going to go to the trouble atm.

I'm not sure what it's called, but it rings a bell. Does anyone here remember that LEGO game where you spawn in Hollywood (I think)? I used to love it, and I would play it all the time when I was 8.

Backlot

Holy! Thanks for helping me remember, brings back so many memories. Back then when I was a kid, Backlot was so advanced of a game for me.

Lego games were basically all I looked forward to in a day when I was little. Back then I only had a half hour of screen time a day. After a while, I got that extended to an hour, but it was still difficult, because there was so little else in life I liked other than the physical Lego itself.
I didn't really have any consoles or anything.
