What most of you fail to understand is that the family is following their religion's teachings. Women in Islam are not permitted to choose their mate. Their marriages are arranged by the family. They were doing what they believed was right.
What I will ask you then is what the purpose of having "faith in humanity" is, and where it has gotten you. You act so surprised when acts like this are committed, yet you always say to "have faith in humanity". What does that even mean? ...It means nothing.
Meanwhile, the "faith" these people have in their own religion is claiming many lives across the globe every year, all for the glory of Allah.
According to Islam, as an "infidel", it is blasphemous for me to use their God's name. I am supposed to be stoned now, too.
