FlatFlyer posts about birds a lot. Ok. Cool. Just because you don't like it or find it annoying doesn't give you any right to tell him he has to stop it. That's oppressive, selfish and unreasonable. The internet is not a dictatorship, it's a free, public ground and this is a (semi) public forum. You can be a birdbrain if you want, there are no rules saying you cannot be yourself.

If flat was actively trying to cause problems by doing this it would be an entirely different story, but he isn't, he's just being himself. If you don't like it, the right thing to do would be to simply ignore him and move on, but you people are instead trying to bully him into changing his ways against his will. And I don't think that's right.

I apologize for my initial reaction, but I have been in this exact situation countless times before and thus the topic is rather touchy for me. Add the fact that I consider Flat to be one of my friends, and yeah, I got pretty angry.

Again, sorry -- there's no reason we can't all kiss and make up (figuratively speaking of course).

that or there could be some kind of deep plot where night fox is actually an AI, and the AI has found a random forumer and corrupted them and forced them to do things that would get them banned, and when they get perma'd they move on to the next

What takato doesn't realize is that this topic is not forcing flat to stop, flat realizes that it's too much and is making an effort, no matter how ineffective, to make it better.

This drama is pretty much telling him "Hey, you know that thing you were trying to do? TRY HARDER."
