Mine is that monkeys will become supreme because of a lab accident and monkeys will reproduce a lot quicker, making more intelligent beings than we could ever imagine. Then the monkeys free its counterparts that were once held in zoos. Soon they create an anti-human force that kills, tortures, and kidnaps humans. Soon, all the humans are dead, at the top of the food chain is monkeys, and the monkeys are bored with their lives. They just decided to somehow bring a huge meteor towards Earth and end all life.

The most likely scenario is that a bad virus wipes out the human race.
Idk if you guys know how bad a virus could be to entire population of the world, but look up the movie "Contagion" and watch it. It is an extremely realistic portrayal of what would happen if one really got out.

Basically but on a extremely enlarged scale. The virus would be more than and most likely to be either a virus that attacks and destroys the immune system and by doing so we would be attacked and killed by even a simple cold virus.
