Author Topic: Apple's master plan may have been revealed.  (Read 10084 times)

I'm using an imac and my family is all mac. I don't like it. I'd rather have a PC.

Apple are moneywolfs.
Why spend €599 on a phone?? You can buy a brand new gaming console and several games.
I only dropped my iPod TWICE! Its now an iBroke. (I'll get a pick in a sec)

EDIT:
-snip-
Like WTF apple? (yes, it still works)
Thats your fault for dropping it, not Apple's.

I think there's a misunderstanding as to what the term "build quality" means

Build quality means that high quality materials were used in the construction, durability means something can take a hit. They're two different things; something can be built well while still being incredibly breakable, and vice versa

some examples:

  • Apple's phones have great build quality and horrid durability
  • Samsung's phones have mediocre build quality and phenomenal durability
  • the Motorola Droid 1 and Droid 2 have excellent build quality and excellent durability
  • the Nintendo DS has average build quality and great durability
  • the PS Vita has great build quality and good durability

etc etc etc

People complained when Apple adopted USB. Now everyone uses USB. Food for thought.

but they made the firewire and no one uses that anymore.

Droid 1
What is this, 2008?

I'm sorry guys, but I only see people hating on Apple because they can't afford it. I've been a long Apple used and I've never run into problems, people don't get it: you pay for quality. When you pay $200 for a tablet, what do you think you'll get? While $500 can get something much higher-end and longer lasting. I don't see anything wrong with this.

So is this actually a confirmed definitely happening thing or are we are just being reactionary and jumping on the hate train?

Really, I'm curious.

No it's literally all conjecture. People love hate bandwagons. :^)

Atleast it will sound better.

Atleast it will sounds better.
If you buy the most expensive beats

I paid $150 for my phone and it's 10 times better than my old iPhone which was $500.

What if Apple makes it affordable?

Right after Beats acquisition, Beats Music subscribing plan prices we're dropped

I just can't see Apple selling $100+ headphones since they already sell $30 earpods which sounds amazing.

Agreed.

My next phone is probably going to be an Android now.

think about apples computers for a second
the highest end model is like 2000 loving dollars for a computer that could be built for like 500
if they charge insane amounts of money for stuff for their computers why wouldn't they (they already are) sell ridiculously expensive mobile stuff thats actually not expensive at all too?

What's the incentive to have low prices?
There's no competition
