5c is essential the 5 but cheaper. It has the older A5 chip and components.

the plastic shell is only slightly less durable and more cost-easy to replace if it ever breaks.  as if anyone even has an iphone without a case anyway.

You shouldn't have to replace it. But of course that's a normal occurrence if you have an iPhone.

the 5c is indeed plastic, but it's a quality plastic. not cheap feeling. other than it's the same as the 5.

the 5s has better internals, the finger print scanner, and metal casing.
