Author Topic: Hatsune Miku: Project Diva - Jesus forget this game is hard  (Read 2373 times)

Pictured above is the case for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F on Playstation 3. The series started as a PSP game in 2009, but later games were created on PS3, Vita, 3DS, and the pretentious iPhone. Project Diva F is currently the third main game in the series and a fourth is awaiting English localization. Is the game any good? The answer is shown in the screenshot below:

Yes, the game is good. I've spent over seven hours on this game in just two days, and I've barely scratched it. On the other hand, that's why I'm resting my thumbs. In order to unlock more songs, you have to achieve a certain amount of points in the songs you already have, on normal difficulty. Most of those seven hours have been spent replaying the same song over and over again just to unlock more songs. It gets even more frustrating when you finish a song and are so goddamn close to having enough points to unlock more songs:

I was using a handicap when I took this screenshot.

This game wants to watch you suffer. Still really fun, but wants to watch you suffer. Worth buying if you like rhythm games.

Congrats telling us how hard it is while giving absolutely no information what the game is actually about.

It's a weeaboo rhythm game, based on what we were told.

would you guys please not

OP made the topic to be about how hard it is, not talk about the game.
Um

Talking about games and telling others what you do in them is the point of this board

This isn't a review.

"Weaboo" is a term used to describe people, not objects.

I didn't know it was a vocaloid game when I first played it, and I still enjoy it more than other rhythm games.

Interesting. It's like other DDR-like key-based rhythm games, but the receptors move everywhere.

I'd describe it as a blend of DDR and Osu.

I have no idea how you convinced someone to buy that for you.

Dad?
You: Hey dad, can I buy this game?
Dad: Sure, what's it about?
You: It's about this animated girl with neon cyan hair that reaches her ankles screaming into a microphone and me rapidly slapping my hands against my richard controller to the rhythm!
Dad: Can uh, I see the cover?
* You show the cover
Dad: what the forget

Mom?
You: Hey mom, can I buy this game?
Mom: Is it rated M? I don't want you to be seeing bad stuff!
You: No of course not!
Mom: So, what is this game about
* see above for rest.

really lol

Fukken sig'd

Lol, this is what I think every time I consider getting this game.
It's not that I like vocaloid, but I love rhythm games a lot.

lol are you serious
I'd imagine something along those lines would happen if I asked my parents to get that game.
