Author Topic: Keys you never use?  (Read 6498 times)

Vim isn't even supposed to use home/insert/end.

It uses i for insert, 0 for home, and $ for end.
I know it's more efficient to use the keyboard shortcuts while in normal mode.
I just prefer to use insert home and end instead.
It's much easier for me because they just say what they are.

...Is that wierd?

I use the super key for all sorts of keybinds. I mostly only use them when using i3 though.

What do you use numpad comma for?
uh
the button that says del or

Right Shift

When we used those Keyboard Instructor things in school, it was awful because it made you use right shift to capitalize.

scroll lock does nothing

and I can't bind it in games

:(

The keys I never touched in a long time are the arrow keys. WASD master race.

don't the F# buttons only go up to 12
Old keyboards like mine instead of having Print Screen, Scroll Lock and Pause/Break have F13, F14 and F15 that behave like those three keys.

I never use right shift/ctrl or arrow keys honestly.
Or numpad.
Basically the entire right side of my keyboard is a ghost town.

Scroll Lock + Pause/Break. Never used them, not a clue what they are for, the key that pulls up the right click menu, its pretty useless too.

Aaand the entire numpad unless I'm playing something like Space Engineers
