Blockland if you didnt notice, blockland has been loosing popularity at a steady rate. Eventually blockland will just die out as an old indie game that was great while it lasted. My idea is that we introduce a tf2 like econemy to blockland. A mod that communicates from a server to a econemy master server and back. The econemy could run on hats, cosmetics, who knows? Maybe we will create a blocko-currency!
Some base ideas are...

Timed Drops
Random items are distributed randomly in any given gameserver

Trading
Ability to trade. Nuf said?

Item Ranks
Items should be ranked for economic value and over all awesomeness. For example the tf2 Strange, Unusual, Vintage, etc system.

Personally I think this would give blockland a major facelift.
Ideas?

Definitely not. This game will just be passed off by more people as a ROBLOX or a Team Fortress clone if that happens. Plus it's useless, and wouldn't do much for the game.

Please no. The thing I love so much about Blockland is that you pay for the game and then you have access to everything there is to the game.

If anything, it's the community which keeps a game alive.

Ew, no. There's no items of value to sell, and trying to shoehorn any in will look out of place and cheap.

We actually used to have an economy a while ago
Pretty much the same thing you have, except we had trading cards in game. Every day you'd get a new one and some were more rare than others.
