Author Topic: Better, More Accurate TF2 Weapons  (Read 2925 times)

Here we already have some TF2 weapons on Blockland, but they aren't so accurate when it comes to use.

Examples of inaccuracy:
The rocket launcher is very bad for rocket jumping.
The medigun can heal through walls.
The eyelander doesn't stay in first person.

Also, some default loadout weapons from TF2 weren't made in Blockland yet.
Adding a variety of weapons and also making the weapons more accurate could really bring us some good servers. Right now, TF2 Blockland Servers are not all that exciting with the current TF2 weapons.

I am not 100% sure if it is possible to make such accurate weapons, but some advanced coders in the Blockland community might be capable of doing such things.

A reason why I want more/better TF2 weapons or even more of them is because I am working on building a replica of ctf2fort. This one will be accurate on both size and details using default bricks. Once I finish building the map, I will most likely release it and people will be able to use it.

The Rocket Launcher isn't that bad for jumping, and the Medigun can heal through walls in TF2 as well. No clue what you're talking about with the Eyelander.

Team colored weapons with beautiful custom models and accurate sounds, accurate spread/damage/splash/etc values, critboosts, random crits, crit projectile effects, damage randomization, damage distance falloff, fixed radius damage, etc.

Not even the modeler showed any interest so I stopped.

Is there a download link for that weapon?
I'm p sure it's either being worked on or private.
