Author Topic: THERE ARE BATS IN THE WALLS  (Read 2357 times)

I found a dead baby bat on the floor of a pizza restaurant.  I haven't eaten there again since.

There are conservation groups you can contact who can help and try to relocate the bats, but sometimes the bats just don't want to move, so you can't force them.

Ultimately you have to put up with it or move away. The law is on the side of the bats.
You could kill them or forcibly remove them, but you'd be facing fines and other punishments if caught.
Because living a bat feces infested house is healthy. Also vampire bats

don't worry though, I am a vampire hunter

past-midnight the forums are amazing

Because living a bat feces infested house is healthy. Also vampire bats.
For the most part there's no serious health risk, since they live in attics and garage rooves.
They're also small and they don't live in massive families when in houses, since houses don't tend to be large enough to provide for a big population.
And it doesn't matter if it's bad for your health. You can move away. The animals are endangered and protected for a reason. It's not ethical to kill them or diminish their population just because they're in your attiv and you can sometimes hear them at night.

Also, considering vampire bats come from South America, not many people living in England are going to end up sharing a house with one.
All the bats in the UK are fruit eating or are insectivorous.

Not everyone has the money or time to move everytime a bat family moves into their house :(

i had a bat fly down my chimney, flew around for a while, got into my room while i was sleeping, and flew out my window the night later

once a bat got into the chimney and got stuck so when it went under from the smoke it fell in the fire and burnt up

I would have slept in the living room.  Anything that flies and is larger than a fly AND is in an enclosed space with me freaks me out.
