Author Topic: i will make you cringe so far beyond existence you won't know where you are  (Read 2862 times)

This is a joke, right? Those kids are most likely never going to see any such "criticism" of them on their teacher's 6th grade youtube channel of all places. And look at them, after all. They're being subjected to singing a humiliating nursery song when they're at the age when they have long outgrown such things and generally begun to do adult things like curse and masturbate.
i swear i thought you said "cry and masturbate"

Wouldn't be so much cringe if they were hot

NOW you sound like steve's conscience!

Yes, let's announce a flash mob, where they're all oddly prepared and everyone is already set up to watch.

it isn't a flash mob >:(

how dare you insult and ridicule someone because they aren't good at something. especially when they are at a young age which could scar them for a lifetime

and im not just talking bout regular criticism because you obviously don't know how criticism works.

you may not loving know it but behind that little screen on that browser which you type, there are people on the other side. not people who just simply get mad and get over it, i'm talking about people who have a life and feelings for things and feelings that can be hurt. so when you decide it's "a good idea" to make fun of a kid who sings their heart out for the joy of what they are doing, just loving remember that maybe just the little things count to them and it means a loving lot when you tell them "Holy stuff this is terrible" and "Thanks for giving blockland a bad rep you talentless kid ;)"
This wasn't NEARLY as bad as that video. Besides, I wasn't even going to leave a comment because I really don't care. Aside from that, you are being ABSOLUTELY ridiculous! Saying a video is stuff won't scar them for life, and if it does, then it's a good thing they figure out what reality is early, because it's going to happen eventually. And 11 isn't a young age. At all. If they were six, I might agree, but an eleven-year-old should be able to take criticism and get over it in an hour.

I'll bet this another one of those kind of humiliating things kids have to be put through in public american middle schools, where teachers are as usual extremely confused as to consider their students as either infantile children or maturing adults. I'll bet you none of those kids want to be singing that song, at all.
this has to do with something else.

i mean these kids obviously did not look like they were having a good time i can agree on that.

Well those are teachers/staff, not students.

yes of course, next time i go babysit my neighbors kids i'll be sure to burn all the artwork they made for their art class because their parents shouldn't have to sit there and see the dreadful display of paint and crayons in such a disorderly fashion. also the kids should know they will never succeed with their low end "garbage" they call art

Trogtor you're my new best friend

oh shut up will you
1. There's a difference between saying "this artwork is bad" and loving burning it
2. There's a huge difference between drawing something because they were required to draw it for a class and posting it online because you want people to see it; in the first, you just did it for the grade, in the second, you're trying to say your artwork is good
3. You're babysitting them for them, so it's a terrible idea to do something like that. Being an internet user is vastly different, especially because of the above.
EDIT: 4. You're probably not babysitting an eleven-year-old, and if you are, they're long past the point of hanging their crappy artwork on the fridge. According to you, age matters.

I can't stress point 2 enough, that's where the huge difference is.
Next time you try and make a comparison that doesn't support your point at all but instead just tries to mock me, at least pick a comparison that actually makes an ounce of sense.

you know sure and well i wasn't talking about that 6th grade sing along

"since its through the internet, it's ok to insult people"

you know sure and well i wasn't talking about that 6th grade sing along
yes, the sing along doesn't even apply because their teacher posted it

in fact, what you just said is the exact opposite of sense. Clearly point 2 doesn't apply to that, because it was posted by their teacher and the kids didn't even want to do it. Point 2 was aimed at the other video.

"since its through the internet, it's ok to insult people"
"since I'm getting paid, it's a really bad idea to insult people" is a lot more accurate. I wasn't saying that because the internet is different (which it is; people tend to take things said online a lot less seriously, and especially from strangers), but rather because there's money involved and you don't want their parents to get upset or anything like that.

(which it is; people tend to take things said online a lot less seriously, and especially from strangers)
and people also say harsher things because they are directed at strangers that they will never meet.

teachers spend summers practicing dance moves.
