Not necessarily. Becoming well known takes time. I started out as a newb, but now I'm known around the forums. I have a somewhat positive reputation with the older players, but a more negative with the newbs.

Lol! Lord Pie was banned because when he first came here (this was his first ban, I don't think he's been banned more than that) all he did was bump topics. It was really annoying.
On-topic: A clan shouldn't be named after you. That's dumb. Out of the two clans I made, one private, and one public (SFT and PNG), neither of them are named after me.
