Author Topic: Fallout: New Vegas corrupt save help  (Read 970 times)

I would like some help on this problem.
I have turned off auto saving and steam cloud sync.
Are there any mods or settings I can use so my saves don't get corrupted or at least less often, because it is very annoying when my game crashes or my latest save get corrupted when I haven't saved for a bit.
Any solutions?

why did you turn off auto saving and steam cloud sync??

Stop running mods which are broken/aren't actually compatible with each-other. I can guarantee that it will almost completely solve your problem.

If you're not running mods then Christ almighty, man. What do you do while playing the game that could be causing such savefile corruption?

at this point i'd like to go ahead and assume that 100% of pc players are, at this late in the game's lifecycle (hospice) they're all using mods of some variety.

Some people (for some reason) don't like modding games at all

if you're the sort of person who can play a game for three-four years w/o mods or additional non-vanilla content, hats off to you, and god rest your soul.

I looked around a bit on google and I found to turn off those in some of the solutions.

I don't have any mods and I got it a few days ago.
