if you're talking about removing the enamel coating then use sandpaper to sand it off.
theyre too thin like usb or something you cant really solder them anyways, what are you making?

it's much easier to melt it off with a lighter; sandpaper will weaken the strands and (probably) cause them to snap at the solder joints
