Author Topic: Town near me turning upside down over a black bear.  (Read 1004 times)

FOX article

De Soto is probably about 10-15 miles from where I live.  Black bears are rare in Missouri, but when they turn up, people freak out.  It's all over every local news station here and people are hiding in their houses and even shutting down highways as they try to get the bear southwest to Mark Twain National Forest, which is at the very least a good 30 miles SW of it's last reported location.

Before I lived at my house, neighbor reports and even a passive statement from the septic worker said that a black bear was seen in or near my yard.

the fresh prince of black bears

now we wait for the russians to kick the stuff out of them for good

town near me turning upside down because of forest fires destroying 5000 acres of property in recent times and many casualties so WHO HAS THE MOST TO WORRY ABOUT NOW ???????

That was national news lol

They're very small too.  Probably about the size of a pretty large dog, but they're very solid.  My friend's mutant-sized rottweiler is probably larger and heavier though.

Doubt it.
compared to a brown bear

they're like baby mice

but what if the town near you turned the BEAR upside down????

They'd go to jail.  Black bears are protected animals :cookieMonster:

jeez what a tribal town just cause its a black bear doesnt mean it doesnt have feelings too
