Additionally, all of the apng images are working except the cube in the op and every other post the cube is in. When I look at the extension is says .png

Except new blink Opera doesn't without the extension. Sad.
It brings me great dismay to know people are using the inferior versions of Opera.

more than likely it's planned at some point. but the thing is, nobody uses them. so they aren't a high priority

You can use APNGs on the forum, but whether or not they'll work for anybody is a crapshoot.

You're the third person to say that, yet both Chrome (w/ extension) and Firefox work fine with it. What are you using?
