Using this for pixel art, should I update?
you should update regardless of what you're using it for

there's literally no reason not to
Line tool and shape tool are now one thing and EVERYTHING has to be finalized with an enter push, and it's awful.

Oh, it looks like they did revert that for the final version.
Fill can something. Go to change the colour. Whoops, this snake is now purple.

There are literally several reasons one can choose not to. I don't think you know what literally means.

1.1 informal Used for emphasis or to express strong feeling while not being literally true

A dictionary is for words, not slang. If an entry only has an informal use, it really doesn't belong in a dictionary.
More importantly, just because it's listed as an informal use doesn't make it okay. The informal use that has been popularized by idiots is literally against the actual meaning of the word.

is every dictionary "a joke," then?

how is it not okay...? because you don't like it? you know what I meant. and according to every decent dictionary, I wasn't wrong. so why are you, apparently, the one who decides what is "okay" or isn't?

Since some people take sense 2 to be the opposite of sense 1, it has been frequently criticized as a misuse. Instead, the use is pure hyperbole intended to gain emphasis, but it often appears in contexts where no additional emphasis is necessary.

"Literally" is the opposite of "figuratively", so many authorities object to the use of literally as an intensifier for figurative statements.

The use is often criticized; nevertheless, it appears in all but the most carefully edited writing.

I didn't help you? all you've done is point out why the word is listed as "informal," which was never a mystery

(it's not the only new feature I love though)

I've been using the beta for a while, and it's great :)

That IS one of the handful of useful improvements. I kind of wish there was a way to have the same thing when alt+tabbing because I use it more often.

"authorities object to the use"
I'm done talking to you, you are far too thick to help.
