Author Topic: Youtube now supports 60 FPS videos  (Read 7569 times)

Actually, consoles had 60 fps since at least the Playstation

Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram ran at 60fps on the Dreamcast.

But the Dreamcast was better than every other console that generation anyway.

reading the comments makes me want to curl into a ball and die

when will people realize that eyes do not work in FPS

I should post that still image comparison of 30 and 60 fps, not sure if it was hilarious or depressing.

I literally can't tell the difference.

like GUILTY GEAR XRD GET HYPE FOR loving 60FPS DUSTLOOPS THAT AREN'T ON NICO OR TWITCH
semen on the wall

But the Dreamcast is better than every other console

apparently it only works on html5

the people crying "i cant tell difference" arent actually seeing it in 60fps

most console game developers compromise framerate because they squeeze every bit of performance out of the hardware as they can

and they can make the games look p gosh dang good, but the framerate being half of the television's refresh rate still makes it look kinda goofy while playing

it only works in html5 and 720p or above

yes it does
also there is almost no difference between 480p and 360p

not worth it
i hate youtube's html5 player

like the flash player isn't also stuff

Yeesh, that was way too fancy.

The reason why there's a debate between 60 vs 30 fps is that some people who play mainly on consoles have stuffty pcs with stuffty screens that have refresh rates of 30, which stops them from seeing anything over 30fps on that monitor.

Youtube got 60 fps before consoles.
idk what the forget you're talking about but almost all gamecube games run in 480p (60FPS) with the right cable

and a lot of N64 games ran in 240p (60FPS)

..and almost ALL consoles before it ran in some form of 60FPS too (SNES 240p, Genesis 144p, etc)
