so one of the best RTS masterpieces EVER was just rereleased on Steam. Kind of like Age of Empires II HD, it got a few graphical updates/fixes, a redesigned menu and some other basic stuff, and now the multiplayer functions through steamworks instead of gamespy. also cloud saves and twitch streaming integration. the gameplay remains the same e.g when you get to modern age the game becomes a nuke fest

similar. a lot of basic mechanics are different though and there are a lot of new things, like cities and territory, more resources (they're infinite though) and they work differently, rare resources, more researching, government types, and other stuff as well
