Obrad chooses the bunk in the corner, laying a dufflebag there. He pulls out a bottle of vodkawater and a glass, filling the glass up. He takes a seat on his bunk and looks at the wall, sipping his vodkawater.

(totally not vodka ;-))

"What is that, vodka?" "Hey. Welcome."

I pocketed my notepad and looked up from my lap. "Hey, where is the guy who is supposed to be flying number two?"

"Huh." I look around.
"Not sure."

"What is that, vodka?" "Hey. Welcome."
Obrad does not look away from the wall.
"Hello."

I see some guy drinking his water. I can barely see his rank, but it looks like some sort of Lieutenant.
"What about you, Lieutenant?"
I attempt to look closer.
"I mean, uh, Captain. Sorry."
"Please go away."
I shoo the man off.

I lay on the top of my bunk, looking at my phone, poking about the Internet, and evesdropping on the outside conversation.

I look at the guy with his phone.
"How bout' you? Where you from?"

"I'm from a town called small town called Malyutka, on the north-eastern shores on the inland sea," I reply, not taking my eyes off the phone.

My tone is sincere however.

I look at the man.

"Peaceful, albeit boring when you don't want to be in complete solitude.

"Yeah. I lived on a farm, so I had all the animals and stuff to take care of."
