If you want to cheese bosses, power stance a great club and large club (or ultra greatsword) and go slam dunk some bosses. I managed to 5 shot a boss with that lul

Proves my point further. You've actually moved onto the second game.

I really wish the matchmaking in dks1 wasnt borked, im waiting for dks2 scholar of the first sin when it comes out in march/april, same with bloodborne

Steam just increased the connection between randoms, and with their region lock also made it easier to co-op, all you have to do is set your download region to the carribean. I only see people in there playing together if I ever end up invading anyone.

Speaking of which, we should have a fight club at some point!

which of the 3 games do u guise like better

i never played demon souls, but i can tell you that the 1st dark souls literally swept me off my feet

the cast of characters and setting convinced me of the dark, grueling, cynical land that lordran became with the decline of the age of fire

the wonky character combat created countless moments of laughter, especially when using certain pieces of equipment

examples

xanthous crown in general

black knight ultra greatsword, the heavy attacks always crack me up by how intimidating and ludicrous they tend to be

fat rolling, especially when you summon someone for a boss battle and they just fat roll through everything

heavy armor in general as well, i mean when youre heavily encumbered and youre wearing something like stoneset or giants at low endurance lvls, your character movement with all that weight looks intimidatingly comical

theres plenty of others, but the combat in dark souls 1 had this hilarious factor to it that I did not experience with dark souls 2

dont get me started on multiplayer either, forest covenant has never not been a joy ride

dark souls 2 is definitely easier, but forget ironclad soldiers. summoning people is really fun in this one, sadly the bosses aren't as memorable

lol

i remember ruin sentinels were a rly fun boss
i always sat outside old bastille @ lower lvls waiting 4 a summon
