black gulch was horrible. The Gutter is worse. In the gutter watch out for puddles on the ground, enemies will pop up out of a few of them. You can the puddles on fire though so and i think fire arrows will do it.

Black Gulch and Gutter were disappointing. I figured they would be my favorite areas, but they were tiny and had one boss over both.

i think you got that backwards there...

that said, i found both of those areas rather easy, mostly because the gutter had p weak enemies and black gulch you could just sprint past everything fairly easily

yea i did have them mixed up, my mistake. and i didn't like them because i hate dark areas

the boss himself wasn't all that hard, it was the fire pits that always forgeted me up because i kept backing into them. Then there's that one attack he does that covers you in oil.

his knife attacks pretty much cant be dodged unless you jump back which puts you in a fire pit

always summon the 2 npcs for this fight

takes all the agro off me while i pluck the guy with arrows and bolts
its a pretty cheesy tactic, but its p safe

unless u deal insane amounts of melee dmg, then just strike him between his delayed attack patterns

I had a good shield so i just blocked then attacked between his attacks. I would run back periodically and heal/throw knives at him.

I only ever summoned npc's for 3 bosses. The iron king, the one scorpion lady, and the bosses in the lost bastile

Dark souls 2 has been a really fun game for me. i'm using a shared steam library to use it. i'm planning to buy the remake later when it's released in April.

Do what I did to beat him, cheese him by parrying then use the ballisticas. If you dont know how to, then go watch some vid on youtube.Thats right, you can parry some bosses surprisingly.

Also since i already have ds2 on xbox, im just gonna wait for the remake on pc too
