Dark Souls gets kinda depressing near the end of the game. By the time you get all the lord souls all the friendly NPCs either die, go insane, or both.

There's still a few undead with hopeful futures, though. Like the peddler guy or Laurentius. Even Sieglinde has a hopeful future ahead of her.

I've killed nashandra twice and completed all three DLCs, i don't know what you're getting at

just because i'm saying these areas suck doesn't mean i haven't played through them already. they still suck. i was on a new playthrough which i actually just finished solo.
