I need a 2x2x1 brick in a special shape to make a lovey looking pillar like this



Also, could it be cut in half to put it next to a wall? like this one:

I can try, but this looks like it would have a super high quad count, and you can't do (well at least with the obj2blb) something that's more than 512 quads.

Maybe you don't do the whole thing, just a base, a middle segment, and a top, all as seperate bricks?

Sounds like a good idea, so that way people aren't restricted to just one height, just like pole bricks.

he specified a size where it would only make sense that it would be the middle bit

I can make the bottom and top out of print plates and ceiling plates.
I just need the spiral part of the column itself.
