If you're on Windows 8, then why not just pin all that stuff to the start screen? It looks better and clears up your desktop.

that'd be a pretty terrible queen on a chess board because the queen is used to take other pieces and she'd probably just have a panic attack when shes within like 5 tiles of another piece
