Author Topic: [Client event] CenterBottomPrint  (Read 1170 times)

So basicly a centerprint but at the bottom of the screen.
I tried using a stuffload <br> tags in centerprint but that didn't work...

why can't you use bottomprint

why can't you use bottomprint
Its not centered.
Bottomprint is at the left on the screen

Bottom print + <just:center>

Bottom print + <just:center>
^Use this. Also, if you want anything else related to bottomprint locations, you can use <just:right>, <just:left>, <just:center>. Also, <br> is for line breaks, eg having one line say "asdf" and the one below it saying "hello", not for changing the location on the bottomprint like <just>.

Bottom print + <just:center>
Couldn't just do <center> or something?

I don't think so, this isn't HTML.

<br> is html, <color:######> is html (kinda)
So shut up if you have no idea what you are talking about, just <center> would be allot easier and then there wouldn't be this topic at all.

That's my entire point. Also, I'm pretty sure I know TorqueScript a lot more than you. I meant that Torque Script isn't HTML, so you can't use <center>, you have to use <just:center>. Get your facts straight before you start criticizing other people.

if you have a problem typing 5 letters before "center>" you have a disability

Also, for your information, events are not client sided. So there are no "client events".

pretty sure he meant events affecting a client

<color> isn't "kinda" html
It either is or isn't, and it isn't
<center> tag shouldn't

So shut up if you have no idea what you are talking about
What the hell?
All he said was "this isn't HTML"
Which is correct
I think you're the one who doesn't know what's going on here

just <center> would be allot easier and then there wouldn't be this topic at all.
The <center> tag shouldn't even be used in proper HTML, so whether or not Torque's centering is the same doesn't matter at all
