they want an apology so badly but in every single one of these situations, people say the apology isnt good enough and it gets worse than when said person didnt apologize.
"please jon just apologize you're making this bigger than it has to be" and they would read his letter like a hawk, and if they saw something that even looked politically inocorrect they would give him stuff for that and say his apology meant nothing.
Somebody a while back, I don't remember the name right now. Carl Sagan maybe? I dunno. Point is somebody a while back got called out on something somebody found offensive and was like "Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't aware people could be offended by that." Politely. No snark or anything. And what happened? People didn't think it was good enough and decided to rag on him more because durka durka durr.
You can't satisfy SJWs. Apologizing solves nothing. Instigating them eventually becomes a better choice if you can ignore death threats. Because then it becomes entertainment.
