Half life 3 is going to be the biggest let-down ever no matter how good it is. Valve will never release it under that name, because they know they will get the largest tidal wave of stuff ever te be seen on this planet no matter what they do. Also, I think hl2 was mediocre to good, but I can't really judge because I only played both in like 2007, so the whole revolutionary part wasn't there for me.
