Well, I have never really played a MGS game myself, I've always really wanted to, but I never have. I intend to get a next gen console eventually, I'm still torn between Xbone and PS4. but once I get one, I have to ask. Will I need to have played the other MGS games first, before I play MGSV? I do intend to get MGSV when it comes out for whatever next gen console I decide to get.
tl;dr Do I need to play the other MGS games before I play MGSV?
