phishing: a scam were a user sends a link to a fake website so the scammer can use the account info once the user log in the fake website.
this is commonly used with emails.
but this is on steam. how does this work? well a random person adds you with the message
Hello,
Quote

steamconnmurlty.(com)
as you can see this is misspelled. all of them are usually misspelled along with the grammer.
