Apparently somebody did run it over, and it broke.

Not like anyone expected the screen to withstand 5,000 pounds, anyway.

IMO the design of the iphone 6 is really unattractive. Looks like a poorly-done htc one knockoff. Not that I'd consider buying another apple product anyways, but in the past at least they looked alright.

This. Also, Apple is a patent trolling terribly overpriced richardweed company so I wouldn't buy anything from them even if this phone looked any good.
EDIT: Forgot terribly overpriced

It's an early body prototype.

I saw this vid on Reddit when it was released and my immediate thought was that hes an idiot for bending it like that without wearing gloves.

I love MKBHD but my god dude, common sense.

if they add this to the next iPad I'll maybe replace my current one

Um

Gorilla glass is really strong to,  guys. People are making such a big deal out of this. I'm not saying this is no stronger than Gorilla Glass 3, but look at this video.

Now, obviously this hasn't been drop tested on a phone yet, so it may still prove to be significantly stronger, but so far,  what he's doing isn't that incredible, given what we already have in GG3. Oh,  and the video I linked is GG2, so imagine that,  just stronger.

-snip-
I really don't see what the problem is with screens anyways, just take some basic amount of care. I've never dropped a phone accidentally.
What Apple should be focussing on is battery life jesus.
