Um no this is addiction don't try to make all your drug addictions look better lol

energy drinks in general are gross

I use to drink a full monster every day because i liked them so much. That was until i found out my system couldn't handle it if i wasn't staying busy. I was at a restaurant when my heart started to flutter and i got a panic attack. I had to jog around the parking lot to calm down. This was due to me consuming sweet tea on the same day i had a monster. :z

That too and it's just overpriced, might as well buy a pack of coffee that lasts longer for the same price.

try coffee/soda instead

DR BLF IS ON THE CASE

there is this energy drink i drank once, never had anything like it. best tasting liquid ever. wanted to drink more but it kind of went away after a day

If I consume too much caffeine over a period of time and stop, I start getting headaches often, so I have more caffeine to make them stop. Eventually I cool off when I start to slow down.

Caffeine doesn't do stuff for me. When I was a camp counselor I was drinking like 3 cups of coffee with each meal and it hardly made any difference compared to when I wasn't drinking any.

We're talking about caffiene, one of the least effective stimulants in the world and on top of that a stimulant that has minimal if no dopaminergic action. There's a difference between dependence and addiction, if you refuse to understand this difference it's your loss, ultimately. And besides, I fail to see how classifying this as caffeine dependence would make anyone elses' drug addiction look better.

if you have to try to stop something its an addiction why is this so hard to understand

stop trying to be a rationalizing druggie

Monster drinks are gross
yeah it's like flat mountain dew which was gross to begin with

That's not at all how addiction is defined, especially not by medical professionals. Signs of addiction include:

- Continued use despite significant negative consequences

- Craving and thinking about using when one can not use

- Redosing after a previous dose begins to wear off, as to avoid any withdrawal or unwanted effects

- Prioritizing using above normal activities and relationships

Don't try to argue with me if you have no idea what you're talking about.
