I say we put a giant sheet of tin foil over the United States to catch all the lightning.
After doing some quick math, I've found the cost should be somewhere around $5,044,138,082.03, not including the giant metal hoists needed to keep it up.
I think its a sacrifice we must make

did you know that lightning is important to the health of the vegetation and the grass? if we get rid of lightning in the US, we will worsen our global warming problem.

at least we'll be same from lightning attacks. Again a sacrifice we must make

we would live in a lightning-less paradise. overseas travel is unnecessary and people can walk from state to state and get some exercise.

I signed this, my highly upsetting reason should convince the FBI to enact this.

yay lightning is being banned forget you monsoon season

it stormed today

sign to end monsoon season now

Well since sharks are less frequent than lightning, I'd also like to point out not only to be on the look out for lightning but also be on the look out for vending machines.

I want to know these thirty people being killed by ants.

I have a higher chance of dying in a horrific vending machine accident than a loving shark

People trying to survive a sinking ship should grab hold of sharks and get away from floating vending machines.
