how so?

bronies make up a miniscule part of today's society and their interests don't affect society whatsoever

they're simply doing what want too, that is different from the norms of society... it's not like they're setting a trend or something

Yes, bronies and furries are very much alive. Your question may hold more ground in another 5 years or so when the MLP show will have either long-since ended its run or been canceled.

In the meantime, I would recommend you avoid the two fandom's respective megathreads on this forum. They are among the most sketchy and creepy parts of this little internet neighborhood we call the Blockland Forums.

To me it makes even the recreational drug megathread look like an upscale dining lounge full of tuxedo-dressed patrons.
