Author Topic: Player health bars  (Read 1726 times)

The title may sound like a health bar just for your health but im suggesting an add-on that shows the health of up to 8 other players or more if possible along with yours Saying the names of the players and if full the color of one of the bars will be green but yellow if injured and red if nearly dead
Left for dead 1 and 2 gave me this idea this will be great for co-op games
if you have not played it is what i mean

See the health bars at the bottom?

ZAPT had this so I'm sure if someone wants to rip it out of it and polish it up a bit, then go ahead.

Yeah but i suggest it be on the side of the screen and the health bars be thinner with the name on the left of the bar and not so zombie themed
and have the weapons shown under the bar and only showing their picture (allowing this to support weapon add-ons)

This will require both a server and client sided add-on.

What about if its a slayer add-on

What about if its a slayer add-on

It'll still need a client, then. Slayer is server-sided. Client mods usually aren't that popular and servers that require them tend to lose popularity because of them (usually because of new players who don't want to install the add-on). Of course, there have been successful servers that use them, but I still wouldn't suggest using it.

Hmmmm ohh how about bottom print? (Vice prints  maybe)

I think floating health bars above players heads would be neat.

Using some of the add-ons out there you can force load the client add-on on the client, and if it's a simple GUI like this then it should work out easily.

False. Slayer is a client sided and a server sided addon.

False. Slayer is a client sided and a server sided addon.
So... what does that mean

This will require both a server and client sided add-on.
If you remember this and think about what they just said about slayer being both, then someone can make this mod if it's a slayer addon.

It would require a client and a server still.
