keep the list updated for someone willing to do so
hypothetically, I would totally want to do it. I love doing things like that
on that note I'm probably not the most qualified to be the maintainer of a thread like this since I have never really posted about any of my charactersbut you see: it's just not necessary. who uses the list anyway? if you need an image of someone's character, for art or something, it's probably faster and certainly more reliable to ask the person who made the character, in the first place. even in a situation where the person in charge of the thread updates it pretty regularly, for newer characters things will probably be changing pretty often and there's no way for you to know if the stuff in the list is actually up-to-date. for non-art stuff, you can't even GET that information from this thread. there are no personality descriptions or anything like that in the OP here
more importantly, it will be a mess. if you make another thread, as long as this one still exists, people are gonna try to use it too. and it's just gonna be a big, nasty, mess
I don't know if banned users can lock their threads. I've never tried it. I guess, if they can, and face was willing to, that would solve this problem
but it would still be pointless otherwise
