we'll, to be honest, most of our OCs have something in common with the creator, because, when you make a character you want to like, you're gonna think of yourself, or your traits.

I'm more prone to putting what I don't have into my characters since I typically have very large casts within my writing.

I meant, your favorite OC,  a whole cast is a different situation, you're gonna need diversity, but if your favorite OCs aren't like you in any way, then that says something, but idk what.

It's hard for me to think of a character of mine I especially like, but I tend to put more of myself into the antagonists. The antagonist of my longest running pile of stories is literally Satan and I just have a ball writing him.
