How does "Lawful Evil" work
The Cardassians, Imperium of Man (most of the time), Galactic Empire, Gamilans, and The Enclave are some examples. Lawful Evil types don't do "evil" acts in the name of mustache-twirling villainy, but to further a goal that may well be noble in its own right. A lawful evil character would be one who is consistent in their actions, follows SOME sort of moral code, and may even be trustworthy and honorable.

tldr, "Lawful Evil" means the entity in question has what could be called "good intentions" behind their atrocities. They aren't evil for the sake of evil, or totally mad like chaotic types.

vigilante, from what i assume
No, vigilantes are typically Chaotic Good. They're going against the law to fight for justice.

I think lawful evil is corrupt politician or something
That would fall more within the lines of neutral evil. They're only looking out for themselves.

so what's the difference between neutral good and regular neutral

ok guys
you're not supposed to add your character in a second time
i have different.... rounds because other people didn't have a chance to ad theirs in at all
How about instead of "rounds" you just make it a much larger, multiple squares for each section one instead?

so what's the difference between neutral good and regular neutral
I'm assuming you mean True Neutral? True Neutrals are like, the absolute most basic alignment and imo they can be the least interesting. They don't sway either way on the alignment chart at all. "True Neutral" characters would be like, medieval peasants or some stuff. Just indifferently trying to get by, more worried about if their goods will sell at the market next week than whatever big good vs evil conflict is happening.

or you can just take a square and post it as a simple image

and I assume Neutral good is like, will do good acts when needed, but for the most part just does whatever?

that would work too.

neutral means indifferent? that is not at all what I assumed. hmmm

More or less. Not "Good" but not "Evil" either.
Lawful Neutral types hold the law or authority above all else, where Chaotic Neutrals seek to sow discord and mayhem, but not to the extreme degree a Chaotic Evil would. Judge Dredd is the shining example of Lawful Neutral, where a Chaotic Neutral would probably be like that Man of Reason guy that's being a pest recently.

Pretty sure Man of Reason is Chaotic Evil. He's doing it for the sole reason of being a gigantic starfish.

lol no he is not chaotic evil, you're just trying to defame him because he's affecting you personally
The Joker is chaotic evil, he murders people because it's funny. Dark Eldar are chaotic evil, they rape people to death and snort their souls like cocaine. MoR is a two-bit skiddie with a botnet causing mildly inconvenient mischief for MINUTES at a time. Not even remotely evil.

I always thought that the 'evil' part just meant the intentions behind the act, not the severity lol. If you're doing it just to be a nuisance because you have a grudge against a certain set of people or just for the lols then that act can be considered 'evil'.

Inconveniencing a web forum is not an evil act. It's a nusciance, but nowhere near "evil". He isn't actually hurting anyone, he's just being annoying.

I always thought of the alignment tree as this-
A "Good" act is something that is done with the intention of helping somebody.
A "Neutral" act is something that is done without considering the good or bad effects it has on other people.
An "Evil" act is something that is done with the intention of harming somebody.

Man of Reason's intent is to harm somebody so I consider it "evil." We're just going to have to agree to disagree.

I'd say he is evil neutral cause really most of this is from him being an immature forget who prob has issues irl, but no real motivation.
