and this is why you dont take a dangerous role for a career if you have a family

That is completely stupid. Being a cop is dangerous to some levels, but if you do it right, you probably aren't going to be seriously hurt or killed.  Just stay out of risky situations without backup and don't be afraid to pull the trigger if you absolutely need to do so. My uncle is a cop with a family and he used to bust drug dealers while going undercover as one of them. He is now on the police department. To my knowledge, I think he had to tase someone one time out of all that. Luck maybe, but also intelligence about assessing your issues at hand.

You're now one of the few people I hate on this forum.

Good job.
who are you

this video is depressing, and that cop took the benefit of doubt of the man to keep him alive rather than shoot after his first few warnings... ended up with the officer dead

there should be a standard warning system, 3 warnings and its shots fired. he warned the dude 9 times before he shot.
also andrew brannan (the real guy who killed kyle dinkheller) is still alive. he was given the death sentence but it still has not been done yet. he killed kyle when he was 50, now he is 66 and is still alive and well even though he does not deserve to live.

honestly they should have torturous death sentences for people like this...
It depends on the department and what there policy is and state laws. He could have shot the man as soon as he pointed the gun at him.

It should also be noted that he is a deputy and not a metro cop. Deputies are far and few between out in the county, so backup could be 10 minutes away or 40 minutes away. Also all shootings are investigated and record much paper work. Out in California in a city near me, there was an officer who got a call about a suspicious activity in the airport district. So the officer gets there and finds a guy who fit the description, they end up getting a physical fight. He called for back up, but they couldn't find the officer. By the time back up came the officer had been fighting the guy for 11 minutes and was on the ground wrestling with the suspect. By the time they pulled the suspect off the officer passed out. Also to add, is that taking a life is a big thing that sticks with you for life and can haunt you. You can't be a full pacifist with this type of job, sometimes things can be settled with words and other times you need to kick ass.

Another thing to note if the defense finds a weakness, they will exploit it and it could cost the officer his job or reputation if fowl play is suspected or forged. Thankfully he have dashcams and cameras that can be worn and can be used against the defense.

Quite a shame that people who watch FOX news and CNN think that all cops are bad and nothing, but talk stuff about the police. However they always end up calling the police when they need help.

the real video was rough

if i was that cop i wouldve had the gun on him as soon as he started acting up

Well, both videos scared the stuff out of me.

I think he should have definitely had a partner with him. If I was a cop I'd never do anything alone. Not only because I'm a little bitch, but also because if things go haywire, then I have backup.

But the officers screaming in the dashcam video scares the piss out of me.

wat
i dont get how you'd be scared by this

The fake video was scarier than the real one. Probably reversed if the whole incident happened in front of the police car though.
