What a person makes themselves look like in public is their own business, and has no harmful effect on the people around them. Just because someone does something that other "undesirable" people tend to do doesn't automatically mean they are bad people.

Conversely, people who purposefully draw attention to themselves are asking for trouble, which is fine as long as they're willing to accept both the positive and the negative feedback they receive.

for the record: if someone sees a literal werewolf running around, two things happen: 1. they automatically assume he has a McJob at best, 2. their morale, sanity and mood ALL take a hit. as a result, the fursuit guy plunged a normal guy into a stuffty mood, impacted his working shift and also made him more likely to do something Self Delete-level crazy.
by extension, human resources and some % of the workflow and economy are at risk.
