Author Topic: CHILDHOOD FEARS  (Read 5912 times)

Pretty self explainatory, here we talk about things that we feared as a child that we may still fear today. Lets get the nightmares going.

The Feature Presentation bumps on Disney VHS Tapes
When I was a kid, and was watching this in the dark in my living room, this scared the forget out of me. The narrators voice, combined with the music, and the way the cursive writing appeared, all combined to give me nightmares as a kid. It's not even that scary, but somehow it did scare me.

The Dragon from the film entitled "The Neverending Story"
This brother right here gives me the heebie jibbies. The way he moves and his eyes are is creepy. Thats some uncanny valley stuff. Glad we have CGI instead of terrifying ass puppetry.

i was scared of an elevator that was in a mall
i never got on it but watching it go up scared the stuff out of me

Rusty and The Boulder
it still terrifies me
other than that explosion in the end

I used to be scared of many animated movies. Also, I was scared of Baby Einstein.

when i was young i had nightmares about this guy

idk why

I was scared of the end of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater level, Mall. There was a staircase down (so you felt out of control) to a door that was supposed to be like an exit to the parking lot, but instead it was just really dark, and surreal PS1 graphics, and going inside ended your run instantly.

Then, one day, the sound of riding over the tiles (in that area and nowhere else) sounded like mysterious knocking to the overactive imaginations of my brother and I. Didn't go back there again for years.

Try to see what I'm talking about behind the commentary of this guy (who was actually pretty fun to listen to compared to all the other voiced-over gameplay I found)

When I was young, I was afraid of really weird stuff that I can't even explain.
