1.consoles are easier to use
Ah, the argument of you're too stupid to understand the ever-so-slightly more difficult-to-use PC for a lot more features.
2.console are more faimly friendly, and have more features
Family friendly? If anything a PC is much more family friendly, because of how open it is, there's much more accessable content for anyone of all age groups. And more features? Are you drunk? A console is LITERALLY a pc with a watered-down OS. That limits it to gaming, a poor internet browser, and a few more things. A PC is a PC. It's an open-ended system. On PC you can mod games, go on the internet more easily, use multiple monitors, play in higher resolutions, use more peripherals (oculus rift, hydra etc.), use any controller of your choice, and more.
3.better exclusives
This is a complete bullstuff reason for two reasons. One, it's complete opinion, and two, PC has way more exclusives than console. Let's take a look.
Upcoming exclusives this year.

That's just what's coming out THIS YEAR, not to mention what's already out such as DayZ, Space Engineers, Banished, The Foresh, Arma III, Garry's Mod, Rust, Civilization V, Papers Please, Payday 2 (technically on console but it's updated far far faster on PC), Kerbal Space Program, and so much more.

I dont know man, LBP3 is coming out for the PS4. That may be worth it right there.

*shades*

Own both a custom built PC and a ps4. Aw ya

By family friendly, he  probably meant easier to maintain and set up. You can just take it out of the box and play, everything already set up as far a parts. Plus (XB's in particular) they are good for watching movies, siblings playing together, friends coming over, etc. Plus they are cheaper and therefore more reasonable for someone WITH a family that has a budget. On top of that, they don't have to pay for anti-virus software and all that stuff. So I think consoles definitely take the cake in that regard.

Paying for antivirus lol.

lol how could you even consider saying computers are more family friendly
when was the last time you played a four-player splitscreen game on a pc. for that matter, when was the last time you played anything at all with your family on pc, whether it was four-player or splitscreen or not?

Never. Actually I played a bunch of TF2 with TheArmyDad.
I own an Xbox 360, on which 'never' is also applicable.

this is whats tearing me apart between a ps4 and a pc.

From what I've seen, most PC gamers are very greedy and want everything they can get their hands on.

Like for example: GTA V

Everybody is enjoying it fine on consoles, but then the PC gamers just shout and scream "GIVE IT TO US PUT IT ON PC NOW RARARAR"

Then when it gets announced for PC, they're all like "HA LOL YOU GUYS SUCK BETR GRAPHICS HA CONSOLE PEASANTS"

It pisses me off, and this situation goes for just about every console exclusive game, like The Last Of Us.

It is very annoying, and it makes alot of PC gamers look bad.

this so much my god

i hate the people who are like "lol you dont have 1000 gigs of ram you loving friend console peasants." or when someone's like "xbox one or ps4???" and you get people going "both suck get PC"

I like having the ability to chose. There are games on Playstation that isn't on PC, like Metal Gear solid or Final Fantasy 10 and 12
Also, I have a different set of friends on my PS3. A fair amount of them just don't have PCs so i cant play with them without being on the PS3.

Honestly, for me, Its all boils down to which exclusives I want to play. I have a PS2, PS3, and Wii, all because they have games I would love to be able to play and it doesn't feel the same with an emulator.

Plus I never really had an outstanding computer so even some games I have on PC i cant play but i have on PS3 (Dead Island, Skyrim, etc)
Of course this will be changing within the next few months, but still.
Only reason why I don't have an Xbox is because I'm just not interested in its exclusives.

I have a Wii U if I want to play games with my family. Besides, splitscreen sucks ass. Imo its more fun to just have 4 computers playing the same game on different screens than having one screen split up into 4 different quadrants.

PC people can talk all they want while i sit here playing Red Dead Redemption

but i want a nice pc  :panda:

I'm not trying to tell you why you should own console instead so idk why you're saying that anyway
