To be honest I'm not entirely sure of when match times would be either quite yet because like I've stated in the OP, this is my first time. I also assume this time changes based upon what league we'd be in.

speaking of leagues i think the only league that would make sense would be iron. steel MAYBE if we find out were pretty good but any other ones are just too good

We have to start somewhere so I think Iron would be appropriate, especially considering almost everyone applying has no competitive experience.

Mics aren't exactly required for some classes. Pyro's a pretty good example of one that doesn't exactly need one. It's definitely preferred and someone with a mic and similar talent for Pyro will probably be picked over someone with the same talent without a mic because they can actually convey important information.

Edit: I'd also like to ask the people who want to play Soldier, what day and time would work out best for you? This would have to be a separate day from Scout as the time period tied in with the sheer amount of people willing to be Scout makes it unfeasible to have it right after. I was thinking some time Saturday if all/most of the Soldiers are free that day.

Yea it's going to be in UGC, but depending on what league you are in we may end up facing you which is a neat thought I suppose. Good to know that you can't attend ahead of time though because setting it up gets a lot easier knowing who will and will not be there.

Lobbies I'm not too sure if that'd be possible because I've never actually started a lobby, when it's 1v1 almost certainly.
